FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

The number of photographs naturally correlates to the length of the photoshoot. Please reference my pricing section for the average times for photoshoots and the number of pictures that will be produced from them.

How should we dress for our family session?

As always, I want you to feel comfortable for your session! If you prefer to dress fancy, or wear a potato sack, we'll work with it! Family portraits tend to come out really well when the group color coordinates their outfits. If you have a theme in mind, let me know and we can come up with ideas for props that match your ideas!

I don't think I can afford that... is your pricing negotiable?

I completely understand how easy it is to struggle with a family in today's economy. That's one of the reasons I decided to turn my passion for my photography hobby into a side business. I love being a part of capturing people, their personalities and their special moments... but I understand hardship too. If you are hesitant to reach out because of the cost, please contact me and we will talk.

We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?

Absolutely! More than anything, I want you to have fun and feel comfortable. Most of us (especially myself) have some insecurities about ourselves, and that is perfectly normal. I try my best to look for the most flattering angles and to give you lots of options to choose from. It's important to remember that sometimes what feels like a really awkward pose, can produce the most dynamic and beautiful portrait. As always, if you have any concerns, suggestions or requests - feel free to speak up! I'm listening!

I want pictures of my kids, but I don't have many family pictures with myself in them... is it okay if I join for some too?

Me too, girl! Me too! I've been there! As a mom who is almost always BEHIND the camera, when I became a single mom I realized I had almost NO pictures of MYSELF with my children. So what did I do? I hired a photographer and we made a day of remedying the situation! :)
